Rustic motif describes the look, and mostly permanent residences describes the tenants (all very friendly). This is the only RV park site we've stayed in which had a covered/sheltered (rustic) picnic table. Easy to park in and leave with a 36' MH towing an SUV. We were in the space next to the bathrooms and showers. The food in the "authentic" Mexican restaurant (Maria's) was outstanding not to mention close (on the other side of the bathroom/showers building from us). The owners were very helpful and friendly. The rate shown is Passport America (good for two days) and is the reason we found and chose it. The area has small town attractions and apparently hosts elk hunters during the season. The drive east on Hwy 153 to Puffer Lake which is 22 mi from Beaver (elev 6000') is pleasant, winding and worth the trip up over 10,000'. A small Flying-J at the north exit off I-15 and another small truck stop just south of it on the way in. There's a good vet across from the KOA in the north end of town. You might want to ask about a weekly rate if you wanted to go somewhere to hide and relax for a week.

We are Passport America. Very easy to get to from US-20 (you can see it before you turn off the highway). An ALCO and IGA just across the street. A very nice couple runs it trying to make the campground better, they just added some 50 amp sites which are pull-through, more or less. Good for an overnight stay. We are self-contained so do not know anything about the toilets, etc. There were a very few permanent residents. A half dozen RV's stayed the night we were there.

We are Passport America. We came in expecting a $15 rate. They asked if we were 50 amp wired, we were and said so. They added $5 because they don't allow adapters down to 30 amp. It was well kept, clean, lots of permanent residents but not junkie. A number of dogs but under control (leashes). Not bad, but not a destination campground unless your activities will be elsewhere in or around Casper.

Campground closed September 2008. A true loss. It was the best place to go for repairs and friendship. We will miss Phil and Ann in Hendersonville.

First: the $27 rate is based on a $189/wk rate for an electric and water site only, no sewer hookup. We stayed 2 weeks (didn't need to dump because we have 75 gal gray and 75 gal black water tanks and used their showers). We were here to attend a conference in Sandy and to do research in Salt Lake City. We were right next to the office to the west (site 31). This site has the trash containers about 4' from your RV, no room for a picnic table on the east, yes on the west if you point your front to the south. We found the facilities quite clean and well kept. The employees were very helpful whenever needed. Previous comments about many permanent residents apply, many but never a problem. The sites are narrow and not easy to park in but with a little experience and diligence, it can be done. The drive to SLC in the morning is a trial (8-9am). Coming back in the evening (3:30-4:30pm) is a little better. If there are two of you in your vehicle, you can use the HOV lane. Takes some work to move 4 lanes or so over to get in it, but it makes the rest of the drive much faster. The reason for a 7 rating is narrow sites and the drive to SLC. Could be a 9 or 10 otherwise.

This used to be a 10/10/10 Trailer Life rated resort until the rating requirements changed enough to make restrooms/showers closer to every camp site. We have stayed here for a number of RV rallies, two of which we have put on. We now own both a house and lot in this resort. It's not cheap but you get a lot for your money; fitness center, swimming pool, on campus post office, bank, church, restaurants, beauty shop, golf course, nature trails, fishing, shuffle board courts, rally facilities, dog park, wilderness with deer, turkeys and alligators, free Thursday night movies, RV service and supplies store, and much more. It is adult oriented though grandchildren are occasionally seen.

Class RV park. Well run and clean. It is not manicured but few should have a problem with the way it is kept. It is next to "New Town" where there are shops and weekend gatherings of classic cars or Corvettes if you are there during the winter. Call to see what is going on if you are interested. Disney World, Epcot, Sea World and many other parks are within easy driving distance. Traffic can be difficult at times anywhere in the Orlando area, especially during the winter, but this is normal in Florida anywhere you go which isn't in the sticks.

We have stayed here for several years to visit friends and relatives. It is a bit expensive for a place to stay (no rate breaks for off-season), a little tight for large rigs and has a number of seasonals. On the other hand, it is pleasant and within walking distance of downtown York Beach. Good food, seashore views and shops abound. If you like the ambiance of tourist coastal Maine, it is for you. Traffic is routed differently depending on the season but don't let this worry you unless you can't stand congestion during the holidays. The owners live on site and have been quite accommodating.

Very pleasant park. A number of long term RV's or park models as we recall but not shabby or "overly decorated".
